لا يعرف الكثير من الأردنيين أن الاردن اصبح هوليوود جديدة من خلال تصوير أهم الافلام العالمية على اراضيها.
وتضم القائمة التالية أهم الأفلام التي تم تصويرها في الأردن:
1. Transformers Revenge of the Fallen
هذا الفيلم جزء من افلام Transformers وتم تصوير جزء منه في مدينة البترا ووادي رم والبحر الميت، وحقق أكثر من 800 مليون دولار.
2. The Martian
صدر الفيلم عام 2015، وقضى فريق التصوير 55 يوما في صحراء وادي رم، وحقق ايرادات تجاوزت الـ 630 مليون دولار وجائزة اوسكار.

The soundtrack is hugely upbeat, the content is mostly light in tone, and the science is delivered in a very user-friendly fashion – essentially in the service of the tone and the entertainment value, nothing more than this. The starry cast add to this feeling, and use their screen presence well. Damon is consistently likable, which is just as well since he is alone in the vast majority of his scenes. The ensemble cast has a lot of depth to it, all of which are solidly watchable – Chastain, Wiig, Daniels, Eiofor, Peña, Bean, and so on. The Chinese aspects of the plot serves as another reminder that this film is a blockbuster out to make money, but it doesn't seem too out of place. Technically it looks great and it impressive how convincing the surface of Mars looks. 3. Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
تم تصوير اجزاء من مشاهد الفيلم في مدينة البترا عندما كان بدو انديانا يبحث عن الكأس المقدسة، وتوجه برحلته الى وادي القمر والمعبد المقدس، وفاز الفيلم بجائزة الاوسكار وحقق ايرادات تجاوز الـ 474 مليون دولار.
4. Lawrence of Arabia
تم تصور الفيلم في وادي رم، وصدر عام الـ 1962، وفاز بـ 7 جوائز اوسكار، وكان الفيلم سببا بشهرة عمر الشريف.
5. The Hurt Locker
تم تصور الفليم في الأراضي الأردنية، وصدر عام 2008، ورشح لستع جوائز وفاز بستة منها.
6. Prometheus
هو فيلم من الخيال العلمي، صدر عام 2012، وتم تصوير عدد من مشاهده في الأردن، في وادي رم، وكان يبدو وكأنه كوكب فضائي، وحقق الفيلم أكثر من 400 مليون دولار.
7. Mummy Returns
صدر الفيلم عام 2001، وتم تصوير اكبر عدد من مشاهده في الأردن، وحقق أكثر من 400 مليون دولار.
8. Rosewater
هو فيلم درامي سياسي، تم تصويره في العاصمة الاردنية عمّان، وتدور احداثه حول قصة اعتقال صحافي كندي من اصل ايراني في طهران.
